CA CPT-1 Renewal
Ready to renew your California CPT-1 License? Here are the steps you need to follow for your renewal. Renewals can be done online through the California Department of Public Health PERL system. Link is below.
Prior to renewal you need to complete 6 (P.A.C.E.) Continuing Education Units. You can pay for these through companies like Anderson’s or you can do them for free with the CDC.
For the free CEU’s all you need is to create a login and password with the CDC website found here: https://reach.cdc.gov/training. Choose P.A.C.E. CEU’s that add up to 6 hours. Complete and download the certificate.
Once you have completed the 6 CEU’s you can now go to the CDPH PERL website and complete your renewal with the state. Click here for the renewal website link.
You will need your P.A.C.E. CEU certificates to enter the information to the State website and to upload. When completing the online renewal application the state will require a payment of $100. Once completed the state will automatically renew your license for 2 more years.
